Entirely self taught, Andie puts a tremendous amount of time into learning and discovering new techniques in order to further her scope of knowledge in design. She is meticulous in her design process and has an uncompromising attitude towards details. Since 1997, All of Andie's clothing has been one-of-a-kind because as she states "I feel that Dressing is not only an art form in itself, but it can be a statement of who you are as a person. We are all so very different, our styles should reflect this". An avid outdoorsman, Andie is greatly influenced by nature.

Paying much attention to detail, Andie designs and drafts all of her unique patterns through a process called draping. Her hands on approach to fashion allows her to continue to offer clothing that is meticulously made and environmentally conscious. Andie's clothing is almost exclusively made from sustainable fabrics. Hemp tends to be her favorite to work with. Not only does it have environmental benefits, but it has stunning natural drape that flows beautifully with a woman's figure. She handdyes almost all of her fabrics with low impact eco-conscious dyes. Andie strives to embrace the natural world with the clothing that she creates reflecting nature literally in her appliques and abstractly in the fluid lines of her pieces.
